We are 4-2 in our last six picks as we look towards Week 17. The Bears, Falcons, and Raiders had no issues covering last week, and I’m feeling even better about this week’s picks. Let’s dive right in.

Reminder: Lines taken from FanDuel Sportsbook.

COWBOYS -5.5 vs Lions

The Cowboys are trending in the wrong direction after brutal losses against Buffalo and Miami. Now they face another legit playoff team in Detroit. However, the big difference is that this game will be played in Dallas, where the Cowboys dominate. The Lions are coming off an emotional game where they clinched the division by barely hanging on against a Minnesota team that gifted them four interceptions. Dallas is due for a big win, and this feels like the spot for them to make a statement. Cowboys win big.

PANTHERS +6 @ Jaguars

Are we sure the Jaguars are good? Yes, Trevor Lawrence has been banged up, but even the defense can’t seem to stop anybody. In recent weeks, Baker Mayfield, Joe Flacco, and Jake Browning have all put up over 250 yards and multiple touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Panthers have been a little feistier under interim coach Chris Tabor, covering three of their last four. I like the Panthers to cover here and possibly even get a W.

BUCCANEERS -2.5 vs Saints

Baker Mayfield has been on fire lately, going for nine touchdowns to just one interception in his last four games, leading to the Bucs scoring at least 29 points in three straight games. Meanwhile, the Saints are trending in the wrong direction, losing four of their last six. Quarterback Derek Carr looks like he has lost the locker room, and the once-dominant Saints defense crashed back to Earth last week, giving up 30 points to the Rams. With the division on the line, give me the home team with the better quarterback.
