The Chicago Bears held their first padded practice of training camp on Friday morning. It feels like football is legitimately back with contact and competition being fiercer than any other previous training camp practice. Friday's practice has been exciting and competitive. Other things to watch include the center competition ramping up with Coleman Shelton and Ryan Bates vying for the starting gig. Thursday's preseason opener versus the Houston Texans in the Hall of Fame Game is less than one week away!
