Chicago Bears cornerback Kyler Gordon missed training camp practice on Thursday with what's described as 'tightness.'
Chicago Tribune reporter Brad Biggs Tweeted that coach Matt Eberflus wasn't overly concerned about Gordon's status, which is a good sign.
#Bears nickel CB Kyler Gordon did not practice today. Matt Eberflus said he had some tightness on Tuesday. He didnโt seem overly concerned about situation.

Sometimes, coaches downplay injuries this time of year to keep things close to the vest. Bears fans are all too familiar with players suffering seemingly minor injuries only to be sidelined for weeks.
While it's likely true that Gordon is dealing with general training camp tightness, his status as a somewhat injury-prone player is at least a little worrisome.
Kyler Gordon missed seven games over his first two seasons in the NFL and is being counted on as one of the Bears' breakthrough players in 2024. His speedy return to practice is critical for this defense to reach its maximum upside this season.
