Newly signed Chicago Bears pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue met with the media Friday and gave a simple yet perfect answer to why he chose the Bears: "It's a great fit."
It certainly is for Ngakoue, who joins a familiar system with familiar coaches.
"It's an easy transition with my position coach and my defensive coordinator," Ngakoue said.
Ngakoue immediately provides the Bears defense with the kind of pass-rusher needed to compete in the NFC North. Fresh off of a 9.5-sack season with the Colts, Ngakoue is widely regarded as one of the top sack artists in the league.
He's totaled 65 sacks through seven seasons.
Ngakoue, who has a Bear tattoo on his hand, said he felt like it was destiny to be a Chicago Bear. Check out his complete press conference below:
