The Chicago Bears prioritized the offensive line on the first day of 2023 free agency with the signing of former Tennessee Titans guard Nate Davis to a three-year deal.
While most analysts expected the Bears would target an offensive tackle or center, Davis was the first offensive lineman to be added. He'll join a crowded offensive guard depth chart that includes Teven Jenkins and Cody Whitehair.
Davis wasn't signed to sit on the bench. He'll be a starter in 2023, which means either Jenkins or Whitehair could be getting their walking papers soon.
Check out these highlights of Nate Davis. It's safe to say the Bears got themselves a stud:
Davis started 54 of 55 games with the Tennessee Titans since joining the team as a third-round pick in 2019.
Several top-tier offensive tackles remain unsigned, and there's a good chance the Chicago Bears aren't done strengthening the protection around Justin Fields.
