The Chicago Bears traded the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers for wide receiver DJ Moore, the No. 9 and No. 61 overall picks this year, the Panthers' first-round pick in 2024, and their second-rounder in 2025.

The Bears were long expected to trade the top pick, and with free agency kicking off next week, securing Moore now eliminates the need to pursue a wide receiver.
DJ Moore, 25, is regarded as one of the NFL's top young pass-catchers who's been limited by poor quarterback play in Carolina. He had three-straight seasons of more than 1,100 yards between 2019 and 2021 seasons before regressing to 888 yards last year. He immediately becomes the Chicago Bears' go-to-guy.
Moore signed a three-year, $61.8 million contract extension with the Panthers in 2022 and is under contract through the 2025 season.
