WATCH: Justin Fields blasts home run at Wrigley Field

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is a lot of things. He’s a strong-armed, dual-threat playmaker who represents the present and future of Bears football. He was a standout baseball player in high school, too, and he put his smooth swing on display Thursday at Wrigley Field.

Check out this bomb:

Justin Fields wasn’t the only Bears player to clear the fences. Tight end Cole Kmet crushed a homer, too.

The best part of these videos isn’t the home runs. Instead, it’s the comradery being built within this young roster. The players are bonding and having fun. It’s the kind of energy that can result in a better-than-expected season in 2022.

The Bears return to Halas Hall on Tuesday, June 14, for the start of a mandatory three-day minicamp. Training camp kicks off late-July.
