The Chicago Bears selected Texas running back Roschon Johnson in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The former Longhorns standout will compete with veterans Khalil Herbert and D’Onta Foreman for gameday reps, but he joins the roster as the most appealing all-around running back on the depth chart.
Johnson finished the 2022 season with 93 carries for 554 yards and five touchdowns. At 6-foot and nearly 220 pounds, Johnson possesses the best combination of size, power, and playmaking ability of any runner on the Bears’ roster.
