NFL Network's Mike Garafolo is reporting that Chicago Bears safety is out indefinitely with a Lisfranc injury that he suffered in Week 12 against the New York Jets.
#Bears standout S Eddie Jackson suffered what appears to be a significant Lisfranc injury in Sunday’s game against the #Jets, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Jackson is still receiving opinions on his foot, but he’s considered out indefinitely. Another tough loss for Chicago.

Eddie Jackson likely done for season
Jackson suffered the non-contact injury on a passing play that resulted in a Garrett Wilson touchdown catch. It was pretty clear that Jackson's injury was serious despite little information being shared until now. In fact, initial speculation was that Jackson dodged a serious injury. That's no longer the case.
Looks like a non-contact achilles injury for Eddie Jackson. God damn.

Jackson will get a second opinion, but he'll join WR Darnell Mooney as a critical Bears player lost for the season.
We'll have more on this story as news develops.
