Nathan Peterman

Nathan Peterman, not Trevor Siemian, will start at QB for Bears in Week 12

The Trevor Siemian era didn’t last long in Chicago. The Bears’ backup quarterback strained his oblique muscle in pregame warmups and won’t start against the New York Jets in Week 12.

It’s Nathan Peterman time.

Peterman is 1-3 as a starter in the NFL and boasts a horrendous three touchdowns to 12 interceptions in his career.

There’s still a chance Siemian will play. While Peterman was announced the starter, Siemian has continued warming up with the first team and has not been scratched from the game.

Regardless of who lines up under center, it’s going to be a lot of David Montgomery left, David Montgomery right, and David Montgomery up the middle for the Bears at MetLife Stadium.

The Chicago Bears vs. New York Jets Week 12 game is scheduled to kick off at 1:00 p.m. EST from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
