The Chicago Bears’ 2022 NFL draft class doesn’t include a first-round pick, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t excitement surrounding the Bears’ rookie minicamp.
Second-round defensive backs Kyler Gordon and Jaquan Brisker are expected to start right away, and third-round wide receiver Velus Jones Jr. will have a big role on offense and special teams.
It’s possible one of the Bears’ four Day-3 offensive linemen emerges as a starter at right guard, too.
So, yeah, the 2022 class has a chance to be a pretty good one.
The Bears shared some clips of rookie minicamp on Twitter that provided a first look at several of this year’s draftees, as well as undrafted rookies and players who participated on a tryout. Check it out:
The Bears will hold nine OTA practices May 16, 17, 19, 23, 24, 26 and June 6, 7 and 9, and a mandatory full-squad minicamp June 14-16.
