The Chicago Bears players have spoken. Or, at least, they've graded.
The NFLPA conducted a player survey that reviewed a variety of topics about each team's workplace conditions, ranging from the food they serve to the quality of the locker room. Roughly 1,300 players were surveyed.
Bears players were, for the most part, kind with their grades. In fact, the net result was the 13th-highest score in the NFL.

The Chicago Bears training room earned the highest grade with an A+. The weight room and locker room scored an A, while the strength coaches and training staff checked in with an A-.
The drop-off is steep from there, however. Team travel (Bears players don't have first-class seating) and treatment of players' families scored a C-, while the food service and nutrition program had the worst grade with a D+.
"The complaints expressed by player respondents focused more on the treatment of the players and their families," the NFLPA shared. "Also, both the quality of the food and the timing of the meals were flagged as issues. While players’ opinions of the coaching staff in Chicago are generally positive, one major problem identified was the overall tempo and intensity of offseason workouts, which was reflected in an actual violation and punishment last offseason."
New Bears CEO Kevin Warren will certainly use this data to improve where Chicago fell short in 2022, and I'd imagine he'll prioritize the treatment of players' families and the food they eat in 2023.
