The Chicago Bears struck quickly in free agency, signing Philadelphia Eagles linebacker T.J. Edwards just moments after the 2023 negotiation window opened.
And now we have his contract details.
It’s a team-friendly deal that will bolster the second level of the Bears’ defense with one of Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded off-ball linebackers in 2022.
Edwards, 26, was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted rookie in 2019. He’s gone on to start 47 games over the last four seasons and is now a core piece of the Chicago Bears’ rebuild on defense.
