The Chicago Bears took a step toward beefing up the offensive line by signing Tennessee Titans guard Nate Davis to a three-year contract.

Davis appeared in 12 games in 2022 (all starts) and logged 682 snaps at right guard, a position currently manned by Teven Jenkins.
I'm curious to see where the Bears choose to play Nate Davis. The staff/Ryan Poles praised Teven Jenkins in his move from tackle to right guard (2 sacks allowed, 12 pressures in his 1st season playing the spot) and have Cody Whitehair at left guard. Whitehair has the 2nd highest

Davis started 54 of 55 games during his career in Tennessee after being selected in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Nate Davis has been a steady performer over the last four seasons, earning a 69.2 grade or higher from Pro Football Focus since 2020.
What Davis' addition means for Jenkins and left guard Cody Whitehair remains to be seen. It's assumed he was signed to play guard, which means there could be an odd man out in the starting lineup.
