Bears rookie Kyler Gordon shows off elite athleticism vs. Browns

Chicago Bears rookie cornerback Kyler Gordon is the most important selection from general manager Ryan Poles’ first draft on the job. The second-rounder from Washington was the 39th overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, and in Saturday’s preseason game against the Cleveland Browns, he flashed the elite athleticism that made him such a sought-after player.

Gordon’s ability to time his jump and extend — like, fully extend — to make a play on the ball is something that not every cornerback is capable of doing. And Gordon makes it look routine.

Kyler Gordon and the Bears’ defense are pitching a shutout against the Browns midway through the second quarter with Chicago on top, 14-0.
