2023 Draft: NFL awards Bears compensatory draft pick

The NFL announced the complete list of 2023 NFL Draft compensatory picks Thursday, and the Chicago Bears added one selection to their draft-day arsenal.

The Bears were awarded an additional seventh-round pick.

The extra seventh-rounder now gives the Bears nine picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, a number that will go up once they trade the No. 1 overall in the coming days.

As of right now, this is where the #Bears stand with the current draft picks for April.

The Chicago Bears will be busy on Day 3 of the NFL Draft, with two selections in each round except the sixth. And while those late-round picks rarely snag headlines, they’re often the players who become the core of playoff teams.

The 2023 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 27, in Kansas City.
